A collaboration with Opera Maine's Studio Artist Program

Cuban-American Zaray Rodriguez, Mezzo-Soprano, is with Opera Maine's prestigious Studio Artist Program for this special summer engagement at the PMA. Ms. Rodriguez is a Metropolitan Opera National Council District Winner and has been praised by the Boston Music Intelligencer for her entrancing vocal production. Recently, Rodriguez performed the roles of Dinah in Bernstein’s iconic opera, Trouble in Tahiti and Cherubino in Le nozze di Figaro. Along with musical director Gloria Kim and the PMA's Peggy L. Osher Director of Learning and Interpretation, Christian Adame, Rodriguez will treat audiences to a diverse repertoire spanning multiple genres in response to works in the PMA collection.
