The museum is open late for Art in Bloom week. Whether you’re first in the door, looking for a mid-day break, or making a night on the town, make Art in Bloom part of your plans.
Art in Bloom is included with general admission to the PMA, so come on in whenever you’re ready to check out the arrangements! Special programs are ticketed and advanced registration is recommended.

Bethany Hayes-Chute — Plant Office
Bethany Hayes-Chute is a florist and multi-disciplinary artist with over 20 years experience in the professional creative field. Part of team Plant Office since 2023, her floral work has appeared in events and at restaurants and businesses in Portland and across Maine. Outside of floral design, Bethany’s art and graphic design work includes album design, apparel and handmade merchandise. When not working with flowers, Bethany can be found in her garden, tending her vegetables, and deepening her relationship with sustainability, ecology and land stewardship. plantoffice.net

Katie Lovins — Clo Floral
Clo Floral specializes in contemporary, abstract floral design. Katie, the owner and lead floral designer, found flowers through a background in sculpture and approaches each floral design as an ephemeral sculpture. Katie finds inspiration in nature and seeks to celebrate all that Maine has to offer by sourcing locally as much as possible. Clo Floral is committed to sustainable floral practices. Meg Farrell — Multiflora
Meg Farrell is an artist and founder of Multiflora, a floral atelier based in Portland, Maine, dedicated to crafting wild, one-of-a-kind arrangements and botanical sculptures. Rooted in both art and nature, Multiflora’s work merges foraged and locally sourced flowers with unexpected found objects and evocative photography, transforming florals into immersive, emotional experiences. Callie Dyer — Callie’s Flower Shop & Design Studio
Callie Dyer is a florist and flower farmer based in Augusta, Maine, creating bespoke wedding florals and elevated everyday arrangements. Since opening her shop in 2021, she has grown her business from the ground up—cultivating seasonal blooms, refining her design style, and crafting pieces that reflect nature’s beauty and her clients’ unique stories. Stacy Leafsong — Leafsong Family Farm
A floral designer and artist located on the Midcoast of Maine. A lifelong, organic Maine farmer, Stacy grows a diversity of plants and flowers for her palette on her 89-acre farm. She creates florals for daily deliveries, weddings, events and more. Trained in the fine arts and painting, she studied at Rhode Island School of Design and Maine College of Art. Iris Laurent — Milkweed Floral Co.
Iris is the creative force behind Milkweed, a floral studio rooted in Maine and inspired by the poetry of nature. After art school, she found her way to florals through work in a Boston flower shop, designing florals for her own wedding, and freelancing with talented florists across Maine. Matthew Herrick — Apian Flower Co
Matt Herrick’s company, Apian Flower Co, serves as the in-house florist at O’Donals Nursery. For many years he worked as a landscape designer and stonemason, skills he brings to his floral work alongside a background as an illustrator and painter to create unique floral designs for his customers. Jodi Ferry — Saudade
Jodi Ferry is a floral artist who blends her background in design with a lifelong love of flowers to create sculptural, fine-art arrangements. With moody romantic aesthetics, her work leans into drama and emotion while also serving as a study in color and line. Tess Dunlap — Floralia Design Studio
Tess Dunlap, owner of Floralia Design Studio, is passionate about making living art from flowers and plants. Her time studying environmental science informs her methods, as she prioritizes sustainability and sources most of her materials from local Maine farms. Her designs are garden-style and lush, often invoking romance, beauty, seasonality, and reverie. Alora Johnson — Foraged Farm & Floral
As a designer, Alora’s work gravitates toward a modern and abstract aesthetic, introducing unexpected elements through material choices and thoughtful manipulation. Growing up in a small town in Maine has deeply shaped her creative vision, and she often draws inspiration from the simplicity and beauty of her surroundings. When not balancing family life, you’ll find her immersed in nature—tending to her gardens, caring for her bees, or exploring new places.
Trish Ramirez — Saturday Flowers Studio
A floral designer based in Phippsburg, Maine. After spending a decade in New York City, Trish and her husband made their way back home to Maine. Her work with flowers is rooted in a love for nature and the purity found in organic, imperfect design. She loves creating arrangements that spark curiosity using unexpected ingredients and playful combinations, and enjoys sharing the positive effects of nature through flowers. saturdayflowers.studio

Julia Lipner — Triflorum Designs
Julia is a garden and floral designer based in Portland and owner of Triflorum Designs, an ecologically-minded company specializing in wild-inspired containers, gardens, and seasonal florals. Her work is based on the premise that art, beauty, and flowers are sources of joy and connection, and that intentional design can help us feel more a part of nature. She sources from Maine as much as possible and takes inspiration from native plant groupings in the Northeast. triflorumdesigns.com

Dan Gifford — PMA Staff Member
Before becoming a gallery ambassador at the PMA, Dan owned and operated Flowers On The Hill and then Falmouth Flowers. He was also a volunteer Christmas designer at Victoria Mansion for 25 years. Dan has been a part of Art in Bloom at the museum since its inception and is proud of what it does to bring community into the museum. Over the years he has developed an incredible following of patrons who seek out his arrangement each year.

Katie Dionne — Petal and Stem
Born and raised in Maine, Katie has always drawn inspiration from the state’s natural beauty and four seasons. She strives for an aesthetic that is saturated and accentuated by textured greens, showcased through dark atmospheric tones, wild-harvested stems, and diverse foliage. Over the course of her career she has become increasingly focused on sustainability, utilizing seasonal and local items to limit her carbon footprint while maintaining balance in her designs.

Harmon’s Floral Company
Harmon’s Floral Company has been a fixture in the rich history of Portland, Maine since 1887. For decades, Harmon’s has provided quality floral designs for all occasions big or small, evolving with the times, trends and seasons. Their Art in Bloom creations are a collaboration of a large team with various ages, artistic backgrounds, and ways of thinking, coming together to create structural designs and artistic vision for each floral creation. harmonsfloralcompany.com

Katie Tiehen — Afterglow Floral
Afterglow is a floral design studio deeply inspired by and reverent toward the natural world. Their designs celebrate the shapes, movement, and colors of the seasons, prioritizing flowers grown by Maine’s flower farming community. Katie Tiehen, founder of Afterglow, brings nearly a decade of experience in sustainable floral design. A former city girl from the Pacific Northwest, Katie moved to Maine three years ago and is constantly inspired by the local flower growing community. afterglowfloral.com

Michelle Rech — Electric Flora
Electric Flora is a floral designer who believes flowers should never be boring. Her work is all about energy, color, and texture—arrangements that feel alive and a little unexpected. She loves breaking away from tradition and creating pieces that surprise: bold bouquets, moody centerpieces dripping with jewel tones, or sculptural installations that transform a space. For Michelle, floral design is storytelling—capturing a feeling, sparking joy, and leaving a lasting impression through art made of flowers.

Marcia Davis — Marcia Davis Flowers
A graduate of Maine College of Art, Marcia’s degree gave her a strong background in 3‑dimensional design and color, leading to her over 25-year career as a floral designer. She now owns her own wedding floral business and designs the weekly and daily flowers for Migis Lodge and Black Point Inn, part of Migis Hotel Group. Christopher Skerritt — C.M. Skerritt Floral Designs
Christopher Skerritt’s work is rooted in a lifelong love of flowers and horticulture. After earning a degree in Environmental Horticulture, he spent several years honing his craft alongside florists throughout the Northeast, shaping a design style that balances structure, movement, and a deep respect for the natural world. In 2018, Christopher opened his own design studio, where he now focuses on large-scale weddings, events, and bold, immersive installations. cmskerrittdesigns.com
