Teacher and Educator Open House

Teacher and Educator Open House

Teacher and Educator Open House
Thursday, March 23
3:30 p.m. to 7 p.m.
Free; registration is strongly encouraged.

Teachers are our best allies when it comes to sharing the PMA collection with Maine youth and this free Open House shows our appreciation. Teachers in any subject, pre-K to high school, as well as homeschoolers are invited to visit the new PMA. Spend the afternoon with fellow educators enjoying complimentary refreshments, exploring the galleries, trying out new self-guided tours, learning about the Peggy L. Osher Art Study and Collection Committee Conference Room and our digitized collection, or participating in interactive docent-led school tours (new tour themes range from topics on social justice, contemporary art and process, Maine-specific art and artists, and our time-honored tour technique, Visual Thinking Strategies).

Complimentary refreshments and classroom resources will be shared with attendees.

Note: Educators are always welcome to visit free of charge to assist in field trip planning.
