This spring, the PMA takes a fresh look at a selection of prints, sculptures, and drawings made during the 1980s. The energetic installation highlights a cross-section of diverse aesthetics and artistic practices, revealing the distinctive visual ways that artists participated in the rapidly changing circumstances of this fascinating and fast-paced decade.

Under Pressure captures part of the spirit of the 1980s, combing elation, color, and exuberance with serious social issues that continue to define our time.
