Philanthropy for a new generation.

A Different Type of Membership for the Next Era in PMA Leadership

There are plenty of organizations that deserve your support—people and institutions making an impact in our communities in remarkable ways. One of the things that we hear most often is, “I want my time, energy, and generosity to do the most good,” and that can be hard to define for a lot of us. But if you believe, as we believe, that our shared humanity is what defines us, consider joining the PMA as a Contemporaries or Director’s Circle member.

Both levels give you plenty of benefits—from unlimited admission at the PMA and more than 1,000 art museums around the country, to special access to the most innovative art programs in the state, to much more—but members of the Contemporaries or Director’s Circle don’t view their relationship with the museum by what they get: they view it is as what they can do for others.

The Contemporaries and Director’s Circle enable the PMA to present new, exciting programs, contribute to a growing collection, and bring new voices into the museum’s galleries and spaces.

Make a broad and meaningful impact by directly supporting innovative programs like the PMA Blueprint, PMA Films, Art In Bloom, and PMA Family Days. Programs and events are some of the most accessible ways to bring new perspectives into the museum, but it doesn’t end there. Getting involved in the Contemporaries or Director’s Circle demonstrates your belief that the PMA should be a brave space that champions freedom of expression and reflect the values and interests of our community—including yours.

Like minded leaders, coming together to champion our region’s unique culture, amplify each other’s voices, exchange ideas, and plant seeds for future endeavors.
