Free third thursday gallery talk
Join PMA Teen Engagement Specialist Danikah Chartier for a personal reflection on Braiding the Land/Becomes Body of Water by Meagan Musseau. Drawing from her perspective as a Mi'kmaw artist and educator, Danikah explores the ceremonial and spiritual dimensions of Musseau’s work by highlighting connections between prayer, performance, and Indigenous cultural continuity.
Following the talk, Chartier will facilitate a communal art-making experience that invites participants to reflect on identity, intention, and collective care. Through a guided bracelet-making activity, the group will engage in a shared creative process that emphasizes personal expression and the values embedded in Musseau’s work.
