The whole thing feels infused by stoned mysticism, about everything and nothing, that’s deliriously of its time, charming and just plain bat****.
— Leslie Felperin, The Guardian

74 minutes. Not Rated. Directed by Fred Wolf. In English.

Discounted $7 tickets are available to Beatles Night concertgoers. Presented in partnership with Chris Brown, The Walrus, and Beatles Night.

This screening will be introduced by Dan Sonenberg, Professor and Director of Composition Studies at University of Southern Maine.

The creatures who live in the Land of Point all have pointy features, except Oblio (Ringo Starr), whose circular head is unusual. Singled out because of his appearance, Oblio is exiled to the Pointless Forest. In the process, he learns that it doesn't matter what you look like -- it's who you are on the inside that counts. Narrated by former Beatle Ringo Starr and featuring music by late folk-rocker Harry Nilsson, this animated children's fable is about one of life's important lessons.
