In this interactive talk, Logan Johnson explores how our perception of the world shifts the closer we look, inviting reflection on our relationship with the environment and the ways forests can serve as a bridge between art, science, and education.
Logan Johnson is the Executive Director of Maine TREE Foundation, a 501(c)3 nonprofit advancing forest-based education and prioritizing forest workforce development initiatives. Originally from Calais, Maine, Logan didn't discover his passion for forests until he left his community. Now, he aims to show people the opportunities that forests provide them and their communities, helping to ensure the development of future generations of forest stewards in Maine.
