FREE | The Third Thursday of each month at 11:00am
Step away from the holiday rush and enjoy a gentle pause with your little one and fellow caregivers.
After the program, feel free to browse the PMA Store—our selection of children’s gifts is delightful, and complimentary gift wrapping is offered.
Gather in the museum’s Great Hall (lobby) to meet other new parents and caregivers. You're welcome to wear your baby or bring your stroller (back carriers are not permitted in the galleries).
Join a guided visit in the galleries, looking at selected artworks through the lens of parenthood and caregiving. These experiences will be led by PMA Educators who are or have once-been caretakers of young children.
Engage in open conversation—sharing reflections, experiences, and perspectives sparked by the art.
Care for your baby comfortably – feeding, soothing, arriving late, or stepping out as needed—all welcome and encouraged.
Continue connecting afterwards over free coffee or tea at the PMA Café.
Note: Food and drinks can’t come into the galleries, but you can keep them tucked in your diaper bag (which is welcome in the galleries) or store them in a secure locker. The gallery program will last about 30-45 minutes depending on group conversation.
