Join us for an evening of short films and audio documentaries from the graduating class of the Salt Institute for Documentary Studies at MECA&D.

Each of these pieces is the result of an intensive and immersive semester of reporting on the untold stories of Maine and its people. The Salt Graduate Certificate in Documentary Studies is a unique semester-long program, focused on training the next generation of storytellers with professional students from all over the U.S. and around the world.

Stories include: first-time farmers facing their first Maine winter, puppet makers, cold-water swimmers, optimistic (!) climate scientists, basket weavers dealing with the emerald ash borer, and... giant pumpkins! Each night features a completely different lineup of stories.

Total run time for the evening is approximately 1 hr 30 min.

Doors open 6PM and the program begins at 6:30PM.
