Join Portland Symphony Orchestra as we take inspiration from the 2018 Portland Museum of Art Biennial and listen to works by Maine composers Hiroya Miura, William Matthews, Daniel Sonenberg, and Elliot Schwartz. All four composers use their materials—instruments, sonorities, patterns of notes—with imagination and flair. They reflect a Maine, and a world of complexity, natural beauty, and richness—the Maine we live in.

After the concert, head into the galleries to experience pop-up performances by PSO musicians.
