PMA Goes to Boston

September 26, 2023

Over the past couple of months, the Learning and Community Collaboration (LCC) team has been traveling around Maine and Massachusetts to meet with the education teams there, seeking advice and inspiration on classroom, performance, and community collaboration spaces, and thinking about what that looks like for the PMA.

This past week, our Community Programs Specialist Gabby Chase headed to the Boston area to meet with our museum friends there!

“I was very excited to be heading to Massachusetts for two days to visit the Peabody Essex Museum in Salem and the Institute of Contemporary Art and the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston.

I spoke to members of the education teams at the Peabody Essex Museum and ICA Boston and also attended the MFA Boston’s Latinx Heritage Month celebration.  It is also a moment to connect with our Education colleagues in an effort to build new partnerships with our peers in the region.”
