May 1, 2021

Free SCREENING IN THE BERNARD OSHER FOUNDATION AUDITORIUM

2 p.m. Thursday, October 14

>
Winner: Sundance 2021 Special Jury Prize for Nonfiction Experimentation

96 min. Not Rated. Directed by Theo Anthony.

This free screening is in conjunction with the exhibition Monitor: Surveillance, Data, and the New Panoptic (on view October 1 – December 10, 2021) in the ICA at Maine College of Art & Design.

All Light, Everywhere is an exploration of the shared histories of cameras, weapons, policing and justice. As surveillance technologies become a fixture in everyday life, the film interrogates the complexity of an objective point of view, probing the biases inherent in both human perception and the lens.
