“I have been a part of the floral industry for approximately 19 years. While attending the University of Southern Maine studying Therapeutic Recreation I had a part time job as a buyer and designer at a busy flower shop in Portland, ME. (Well, I was hooked!) In 2022 I started my floral company in Yarmouth, AD Floral Co. I had a successful first season in 2023 focusing on weddings and events! There is so much to learn in this business. Each year there is a new trend! There are always new techniques, tips and tricks to learn from some of the industry’s leading professionals. My favorite part of my business is how each and every wedding is different! I love the challenge of bringing each and every couple’s vision for their wedding to life! Favorite flower? I can’t pick just one…Dahlias, peonies, tulips, iris, marigolds, zinnias, ranunculus, roses, anthurium…whatever’s in season at the time. ”
