“My piece that I have created is about a video game I play, Lethal Company. The game is about a character that goes to abandoned moons to collect scrap for a company. The company requires a quota within 3 days or you will lose the game. The reason I choose this piece wasn’t just because I enjoy playing the game, but because of the fun times I had with my friends along the way. Each brushstroke or pixel meticulously placed had created laughter and enjoyment not just for me but for all of my friends. Even though it doesn’t seem like my piece portrays this, when I see my piece I see memories of me and my friends laughing, having fun, and possibly getting a little upset from losing. In conclusion, I created this piece for my friends to show them my enjoyment, but I also created it for my mom to show my hard work and determination, I created this piece for my art teacher, Mr. Hadley, who showed me what art truly means. Last but not least I created this for my Dad, Who has showed me I am capable of many things and if I put my mind to it I can achieve it.”
