Join renowned art-historian John Wilmerding as he discusses the works and artists in A Magnificent Stillness: American Art from a Private Collection. Wilmerding will provide insight into landscape painting in the first part of the 19th century and still lifes in the latter part of the century, and frame the works in the context of the artists’ careers.
