The Maine premiere of Road to Everywhere is presented by Creative Portland and will be followed by a conversation between actor Whip Hubley and Bob Keyes, Chair of the Maine Arts Commission and former Portland Press Herald arts journalist.

Los Angeles cab driver Jason Schuyler (local Maine actor Whip Hubley) is offered the fare of a lifetime by Jake (Robert Mirabel) a local Casino dealer and gambler. Jake asks Schuyler to drive him to the Navajo Nation in Arizona, the home he abandoned 30 years ago. Jake's dream is to see his grandson compete in a Native American rodeo.

Road to Everywhere is the thirty years later follow-up to Driven, also written and directed by Michael Paradies Shoob, which premiered at the Toronto Film Festival and played all over the world. Whip Hubley ("Hollywood" in Top Gun) returns as his charismatic character, Jason Schuyler, in an incredible performance.

Two-time Grammy-winning Taos Pueblo musical artist Robert Mirabal (Yellowstone) takes on the lead role of Jake. Described as a Native American Renaissance Man, Robert Mirabal is an artist: musician, composer, flute maker, actor and designer. Audiences have been blown away by Robert's debut as the lead actor in a motion picture. He brings enormous energy, charm, and complexity to the role.

Alongside Whip Hubley, three other accomplished and talented actors return from Driven - Daniel Roebuck, Diane Dilascio and Rawle D. Lewis. Rarely, if ever, have four actors reprised their roles from 30 years ago in a completely new film. As the actors (and their characters) literally age before our eyes, this dramatic film becomes a kind of documentary... about what happens to our dreams over the course of a lifetime.

Filmed in California and Arizona. Produced by Joseph Mealey and directed by Michael Shoob. Full film credits available on website https://www.roadtoeverywheremovie.com/
