The PMA is delighted to offer a guide in the Bloomberg Connects app! 

Explore the PMA with our digital guide on Bloomberg Connects, the free arts and culture app. Our guide takes you behind the scenes with exclusive multimedia perspectives from artists, curators, and more. Use the app to plan your visit, then easily access helpful insights on-site. Afterward, dive deeper into your favorite works at home–or anywhere, anytime! 

Our Bloomberg Connects guide features: 

• Audio Guide Stops for exhibitions like Passages in American Art 

• Collection highlights of the Judy Glickman Lauder Collection, the Katz Foundation, the Modern and Contemporary Art collection, and more. 

• You can also browse information on past exhibitions, learn more about the PMA’s campus, including the Winslow Homer Studio, and historic McLellan House. 

• Learn more about your favorites, or discover something new! Our digital guide features nearly 50 works currently on view. 

In addition to the PMA, Bloomberg Connects lets you explore hundreds of museums, galleries, sculpture parks, gardens, and cultural spaces around the world, all with one free download from the App Store or Google Play. 

Getting the App

At the museum, connect to our free WiFi and you will be prompted to download the app. You can also search for ‘Bloomberg Connects’ on the App Store or Google Play. Once downloaded, search for ‘Portland Museum of Art.’

The app is available in many languages (including Arabic, Welsh, German, Greek, Ukrainian, Spanish, French, Portuguese, Russian, Italian, Korean, Chinese, and Dutch) thanks to integration with Google Translate.
