Yoga in the Garden

Have you ever wanted to practice yoga at the PMA? Now is your chance. Enjoy an hour-long, all-levels morning yoga practice in the quiet of the PMA’s gardens before the museum opens for the day.

Yogis must bring their own mats. Wear comfortable clothing that will allow you to stretch. Garden gates open at 9 a.m. at Spring Street. All participants will be required to sign waivers upon arrival. Yoga mats must be checked at coat check after class if you plan on exploring the museum.

All-levels Vinyasa Class with Erin Compton

For a decade and counting, Erin has been deepening her relationship with the practice of yoga. As a new, young mother when she first stepped foot on a mat, she was convinced that yoga was meant to be a daily part of her life. In 2012 she took a 200 Hour Yoga Teacher Training with the intent to gain more knowledge, empower her own students and transform their lives through mindfulness and dedication. As a lifelong athlete (gymnast), Erin's body and mind resonates with the way yoga assists in keeping her healthy and mobile. Erin's humor, heart, spirit and hard work is vibrantly expressed in her teaching.
