Join visiting artist Louisa Wickard to create a unique seascape artwork to take home. Begin by viewing Winslow Homer's iconic painting Weatherbeaten and the museum's livestream of the site where Homer painted. After studying Homer's seascape, call upon your own experiences of the coast and shore and use a variety of methods and materials to create a moody sky, stormy sea, and rocky coast to take home.

Wickard is an artist and teacher who lives in Cumberland. Her art education began as a child growing up on Monhegan Island and continues today as the art instructor at the Chebeague Island School. For more information about the artist, visit www.louisawickard.com.
