End your week with art! Each Friday at noon, join a curator, educator, scholar, or artist in the galleries.

This week join Andrew Eschelbacher, Susan Donnell and Harry W. Konkel Assistant Curator of European Art, for the talk "High Style: Cosmopolitans." Learn how late-19th-century artists Mary Cassatt, William Paxton, John Singer Sargent, Franklin Simmons, and James McNeil Whistler linked the artistic heritage of Europe with the comparatively new traditions in America. We'll study how Gilded Age portraiture played a fascinating role in the careers of these artists, as many of them made portraits for wealthy American sitters .
