Fresh Art with Cove Street Art

Fresh Art with Cove Street Art

As Portland grows, its artistic communities continue to flourish, and new spaces for artistic expression open to accommodate the wide range of voices in the area. One of the city's newest spaces, Cove Street Arts, recently opened in East Bayside to acclaim and immediately put its stamp on the community. The Portland Press Herald says "Cove Street is an excellent space, and what it offers in terms of possibilities and scale is new, important and most welcome."

To mark the inaugural year of this new multimedia space for the arts, Director’s Circle and Sustaining members are invited to a special reception at Cove Street Arts. With more than 8,000 square feet of exhibition space, multiple galleries and showrooms, and a full-size retractable movie screen for video art installations, Cove Street Arts is dedicated to promoting contemporary Maine art.
