Please join artist and scholar David Driskell for a gallery talk featuring his works in the 2018 PMA Biennial. 

Highly regarded as an artist, scholar, and curator, David Driskell works principally in collage and mixed media. His paintings and prints have been featured in numerous solo and group exhibitions in galleries and museums throughout the world. He has been the recipient of several foundation fellowships, including the Harmon Foundation, three Rockefeller Foundation Fellowships, and the Danforth Foundation. In addition, Driskell is one of the world’s leading authorities on African American art. The recipient of 13 honorary doctoral degrees, Driskell has authored seven books, co-authored four others, and published more than 40 catalogs that have contributed significantly to scholarly understandings about the role of Black artists in America.
