Artist Interventions

Artist Interventions

Aaron T Stephan

Artist Aaron T Stephan has designed a one-night-only audio walk in conjunction with his exhibition, Aaron T Stephan: To Borrow, Cut, Copy, and Steal. The audio walk, titled “As If,” is a play on the tradition of recorded museum audio tours. Use the PMA Voices cell-phone tour to record your own personal tour and interpretation of the work on view, as prompted by the artist’s “as if” scenarios, such as “give a tour of this as if you made all of the artwork in the gallery” or “give a tour as if explaining the work to your mother.” All responses will be compiled into a special PMA Voices cell-phone tour available to visitors.
Artist Interventions are made possible by the Peggy L. Osher Education Endowment at the Portland Museum of Art
