Please join the PMA for a public reception for its annual Art in Process student-art exhibition.
The Art in Process program connects the art of Winslow Homer to high school classrooms across the state. Students and teachers visit the Winslow Homer Studio at Prouts Neck and receive a guided tour of Homer’s paintings at the PMA. Through this process, they develop concepts of place and climate with regards to art and the artistic process.
This exhibition shares the work of art and science students from the following schools:
Freeport High School, Freeport,
art teacher: Kimberly Medsker-Mehalic
Lake Region High School, Naples, art teacher: Teal Carlson
Mt. Blue High School, Farmington, science teacher: Patti Millette
