Come get creative with the funkiest van in Maine.

Join ArtVan in making a set of three "Peace Flags" that represent areas of your life you want to "peace" together - the flags can represent yourself, your relationships, your environment. Using thin cotton fabric, markers, and scissors you'll decorate each flag and string them together.

ArtVan delivers free art therapy services to fifteen neighborhoods across Central, Western, and MidCoast Maine. Art Therapists and dedicated support staff drive a colorful van to housing authorities, public schools, libraries, and community centers to provide free Art Therapy sessions for participants ranging in age from 3 to 93 years old. By bringing services directly into the neighborhoods where people live, ArtVan removes financial and transportation barriers, advancing equity and access to mental health and social supports.

Each year, ArtVan serves more than 800 participants, helping individuals build emotional toolkits through creative exploration and self-expression.
