Partner Spotlight: Town & Shore Associates

Art In Bloom is in full swing and there are so many people, inside and outside the museum, that helped make it happen. From florists and garden clubs to individual designers, organizations, and even musicians, this program could not have happened without the support of so many throughout our community.

One of the organizations that helped make it all possible is Town & Shore Associates, LLC, a trusted, independent local real estate brokerage with deep roots in the our community. For more than 60 years, Town & Shore has helped people find their homes in Maine, or take the next step in their real estate lives, and we thought they'd be a perfect fit to partner with the PMA given their Maine values and respect for our local community. As they say, "we are neighbors first and Brokers second."

“Town & Shore Associates has long recognized the unique commitment of the PMA to our community," owner and broker William H. Davisson told us recently. "We are pleased to support Art in Bloom 2018, an invitation in Winter to enjoy the exceptional collections of art on offer at the PMA, and enhanced by numerous creations by local floral designers. Highlighting the rich artistic tradition of the state and its artists, the PMA continues as a cherished window to our world, a rare portal from which many learn the language of art as beauty. The museum brings it all to life with unparalleled programming, from special members-only events, free school tours, and a commitment to family activities including free Friday night admissions to the community.”

Relationships like the one between Town & Shore and the PMA are at the heart of everything we do. We often say, "we are here because you are here," and this extends from our visitors and members to our community partners and sponsors. Museums are a community effort, and we're proud to have folks like Town & Shore at our side.
