Midsummer Party: Taste of the Midcoast at the Portland Museum of Art

Location: Portland Museum of Art

A feast for the senses: celebrate summer and the Museum's exhibition Call of the Coast: Art Colonies of New England. Following an exclusive, curator-led look at the Museum's summer blockbuster exhibition, Call of the Coast: Art Colonies of New England, revel in a summer evening in Maine with fellow Contemporaries members in the Clapp House Garden. Enjoy live music and savor hors d'hoeuvres and wines provided just for the Contemporaries by specialty Midcoast purveyors.

The Contemporaries raised $26,262 (exceeding our goal of $25,000!) in support of the extraordinary exhibition, Backstage Pass: Rock & Roll Photography (January 22–March 22, 2009).
