Leadership Circles

The Leadership Circles are the upper echelons of PMA membership, reserved for those who go above and beyond to display their love of art and their commitment to the community. Members of the Leadership Circles represent the core of the PMA's support and enjoy the highest level of benefits.

Members of the Leadership Circle enjoy unique access to the PMA, which includes private exhibition tours, first looks at new acquisitions, private dinners with PMA Director Mark Bessire, exclusive social gatherings, and trips to other art institutions and private collections. This is in addition to all of the regular member benefits and other significant benefits that are tailored to their particular membership levels. Join today and find out all of the ways you can maximize what you can give, and what you can get, from your PMA experience.

Leadership Circles

Named for the year the PMA was founded as the Portland Society of Art, the 1882 Circle is a group of donors who contribute $10,000 or more to the museum’s annual operating budget. Members in this group stand alone as leaders in the PMA family, and enjoy opportunities for special programs and travel, in addition to unique access to collections and staff.
