Silhouette art—a beautiful memento of a time and place, particularly of children—is no longer practiced the way it once was. Fortunately, the PMA has one of the few remaining practitioners of this unique art form with visiting artist Ruth Monsell. Join us for a special Family Day inspired by Model Citizens: Art and Identity in the United States, 1770-1830, take a family gallery tour of the exhibition, and learn how to make your own silhouette.
