This black comedy gently pokes fun at the mafia presence in Sicily from the 1970s through the 1990s, telling the story of a young man growing up in Palermo in that time. The life of Arturo (played as a child by Alex Bisconti and as an adult by the film’s director, Pierfrancesco Diliberto, a popular Italian satirist known as Pif) intersects with major mafia moments, oftentimes to comedic effect.
