PMA360 presents "Viola in Color"

Hans Hofmann and the Portland Symphony Orchestra

Musicians from the PSO will join us in the galleries of Hans Hofmann: Works on Paper to respond in music to Hofmann’s work and legacy. It’s a rare chance to hear live music in the beautiful Palladian Gallery in the L.D.M. Sweat Memorial Galleries—and accompanying an exquisite exhibition.

Take inspiration from these performances and create a colorful project with visiting textile and installation artist Pamela Moulton during drop-in art making; or take a self-guided tour of the museum’s abstract highlights. Musical performances in the galleries at 5:45 p.m. and 6:45 p.m. Seating in the gallery is first-come, first-served. No ticket required.
