The PMA invites members to attend a private viewing and opening reception for Treasures of British Art 1400-2000: The Berger Collection. Considered one of the most significant collections of British art in the U.S., The Berger Collection includes works from a religious panel of the 14th century and royal portraits of the 16th century to abstract landscapes of the 20th century. Kathleen Stuart, Curator at the Denver Art Museum, will speak about The Berger Collection in the Bernard Osher Foundation Auditorium at 6:15 p.m. and Karen Sherry, PMA Chief Curator and Curator of American Art will speak at 7 p.m. Light hors d’oeuvres and a cash bar will be provided during the reception.
