Members are invited to attend a private reception and viewing of The Coast & the Sea: Marine and Maritime Art in America. This exhibition boasts 52 paintings and 10 maritime artifacts that offer numerous perspectives of America’s multifaceted relationship with the sea. Two lectures accompany the opening, which add significant details to the stories told by the exhibition. The member’s opening for Treasures of British Art 1400-2000: The Berger Collection was attended by more than 250 members and was the arts event of the fall—don’t miss out on this highlight of the winter arts calendar.
