The PMA invites members to attend a private viewing of Treasures of British Art 1400-2000: The Berger Collection. Considered one of the most significant collections of British art in the U.S., The Berger Collection includes works from a religious panel of the 14th century and royal portraits of the 16th century to abstract landscapes of the 20th century.
This weekend, PMA Movies presents a trio of films that takes you around the world to explore concepts of creativity, expression, and activism. Together, these three films paint a global portrait of the lengths humans will go to create art and find meaning in the world.
On Friday, August 29, 2014, the land surrounding the Winslow Homer Studio in Prouts Neck, Maine, was acquired and permanently conserved through the cooperative efforts of the Portland Museum of Art (PMA), the Prouts Neck Association (PNA), and the Scarborough Land Trust (SLT).
