The Winslow Homer Studio, one of the most significant locations in the history of American art, is where the great American artist Winslow Homer (1836-1910) lived and painted many of his masterpieces from 1883 until his death. Purchased by the Portland Museum of Art in 2006, the renovated Winslow Homer Studio celebrates the artist's life, encourages scholarship on Homer, and educates audiences to appreciate the artistic heritage of Winslow Homer and Maine. Tickets: $55, $30 for PMA members. No refunds or exchanges. Summer Season October 16 through December 1, 2013 Please note the 2013 Spring Studio Tour Season, April 2 - June 14, is sold out.
