Under the general supervision of the Building Manager, performs and oversees various facilities maintenance operations, including electrical, plumbing, mechanical, HVAC, water treatment, pneumatic, fire protection and security systems, carpentry, painting, and grounds maintenance.

Under the general supervision of the Director of Protection Services and Security Supervisors and Officers, responsible for ensuring the security and safety of personnel and visitors, the Museum’s collection, and the physical plant,  Performs a variety of security and security-related duties, provides information and assistance to museum visitors, and directs visitors and staff during emergency situations.

Under the direction of the Chief Curator and Curator of American Art, the Curatorial Fellow will play an integral role in a multi-year project focused on the reevaluation and reinterpretation of the PMA’s permanent collection, including working closely with a team of curators, support staff, and the Registration department to conduct research, plan installations, organize exhibition projects, and develop interpretive materials.

Under the general supervision of the Visitor Experience Supervisor, responsible for providing consistent communication and documentation to support the Portland Museum of Art’s (PMA’s) goal of enhancing relationships with constituents. Provides exceptional visitor experience through greeting, membership promotion, data collection and sales, with a thorough understanding of PMA information, while being able to perform related administrative support tasks.
