Under the general supervision of the Director of Learning and Interpretation, this position is responsible for interpretative resources, in-gallery programs and online opportunities that help general public visitors of all ages and experience levels learn about and engage with the museum's collection and special exhibitions. The Associate Educator for Gallery Learning supports the Portland Museum of Art’s (PMA’s) mission and contributes to the vitality of the community by connecting art of the past and the work of living artists with issues relevant to the museums constituencies.

Under the general supervision of the Building Manager, performs and oversees various facilities maintenance operations, including electrical, plumbing, mechanical, HVAC, water treatment, pneumatic, fire protection and security systems, carpentry, painting, and grounds maintenance.

The Public Programs Coordinator supports the Portland Museum of Art’s (PMA’s) mission by collaborating with other staff and departments to coordinate programs that enhance the experience for adult audiences with the PMA’s collection and special exhibitions.

Under the direction of the Director of Development, the Director of Leadership and Planned Giving is responsible for the Portland Museum of Art’s (PMA’s) major gifts program, including development and implementation of strategies to realize the current and lifetime giving potential of donors both in and outside of Maine. Works collaboratively with museum staff and volunteers to ensure the PMA’s success in building strong constituent relationships and ensuring that revenue and donor interaction goals are met or exceeded.

Under the general supervision of the Membership Manager, provides administration and management for the Portland Museum of Art’s (PMA’s) constituent database along with the leadership to transition it from a primarily transactional database to a relational one. Working cross-departmentally, develops and oversees systems to ensure accurate and accessible data entry and reporting in order to strengthen the museum’s fundraising and constituent-relationship infrastructure, while identifying opportunities to improve operational efficiency and achieve institutional objectives.
