Rebecca Wing is a pianist, singer and composer who has performed everything from jazz gigs in tiny restaurants to sacred music for big churches. Her music has gone through many changes over the years, from jazz, to new age, to world and back again to jazz. Rebecca has assembled some of Maine’s most talented women musicians into the quintet Tuff Skirts with Liz Matta on sax, Michelle Kingston on trumpet, Kim bird on bass and Tiffani Pepa on drums. Join Rebecca and the gals as they burn through smokin’ jazz/blues standards, rhythmic pop, and originals that integrate the best this band has to offer. This band doe not let the absence of men effect their playful, sensitive, and yes, even aggressive musical style—a refreshing change in deed!
