In celebration of the 25th anniversary of the Charles Shipman Payson Building, Earle G. Shettleworth, Jr. will give a two-part course on the four architectural landmarks of the Portland Museum of Art. On September 19th, Shettleworth will speak about the McLellan House and the Charles Quincy Clapp House. On the 26th, the subject will be the L.D.M. Sweat Memorial Galleries and the Charles Shipman Payson Wing of the Museum. Earle Shettleworth is the Director of the Maine Historic Preservation Commission. This mini-course is made possible by The Margaret Coleman Brown Fund at the Portland Museum of Art.
