Artful Assessment Student Art Exhibition

Since the fall, 20 local arts specialists and classroom teachers have worked with our collections to create new assessments for Looking to Learn: Teaching Across the Curriculum with the Portland Museum of Art, the arts-integrated curriculum book published by the Museum in 2002. This special exhibition demonstrates how the arts enhance learning across the curriculum. Artful Assessment schools and teachers are:
Portland: East End Community School, Pat Reed and Cindy Rotolo; Hall School, Sherman Kendall and Rebecca Walsh; Lyseth School, Ellen Handelman and Paul MacDowell; Nathan Clifford School, Maryjane Johnston and Lois Allen; Presumpscot School, Sally Mitchell and David Millard; Reiche School; Allison Villani and Lynn Provencher; Riverton School, Emily Serway and Val Vassar.
Scarborough: Wentworth Intermediate School, Joanne Maloney and David Sloatman.
Saco: C.K. Burns School, Debbie DiGregorio and Janine Martin.
Yarmouth: Yarmouth Elementary School, Cam Weir and MaryJo Moore.
