A product of Levittown on Long Island, New York, Michael Maltzan practices architecture in Los Angeles. His award-winning work is based on the belief that architecture continues to have a fundamental, potent role in shaping how we experience the world. His practice is dedicated to engaging the public realm and exploring the complexity and possibility inherent in architecture.
Through its annual lectures, ARCHITALX, celebrating its 20th anniversary this year, aims to inspire us to examine how we interact with our natural and built environments. This year's theme is The Creative Process: S/Citing the Muse.
